This course satisfies the training requirements for those who wish to register as Lead Auditor to IEMA. Course attendees are assessed on their knowledge and understanding throughout the course and will also be required to sit a 2 -hour open book examination to assess their level of understanding.

  • The course will help delegates to understand the principles of good Environmental Management and to develop their knowledge of the environmental management standards. It will also develop delegates’ knowledge & understanding of different audit types, and the practical skills required to plan, execute and report environmental management audits. On completion, delegates will be able to evaluate the effectiveness of an EMS based on the ISO 14001 or EMAS standards at a level acceptable to certification bodies.
